  1. Love the Lord your God (vs. 13, 22)
  2. Serve Him with all your heart and all your soul (v. 13b)
  3. Walk in all His ways (v. 22a)
  4. Hold fast to Him (v. 22b)

How to remember His commands?

  1. Fix these words of mine in your heart and minds (v. 18a)
  2. Tie them as symbols on your hand (v. 18b)
  3. Bind them on your foreheads (v. 18c)
  4. Teach them to your children (v. 19a)
  5. Talk about them when you sit, walk, lie down or get up (v. 19b)
  6. Write them on the door frames of your house or on your gates (v. 20)

Blessings – Mount Gerizim

  1. Rain on your land with harvest of grain, new wine and oil (v. 14)
  2. You will eat and be satisfied (v. 15)
  3. You will dispose nations larger and stronger than you (v. 23)
  4. Your territories you sit foot will be yours (v. 24)
  5. No man will be able to stand against you (v. 25)

Curses – Mount Ebal

  1. Rain will shut off and you will have no produce. You will perish (v. 18)
