[:en]Clean Animals: (vs. 4-5) –  Ox, sheep, goat, deer, gazelle, roe deer, wild goat, ibex, antelope, mountain sheep

Unclean Animals (vs. 7-8)  – Camel, rabbit, coney, pig

“All creatures living in the water that have fins and scales are clean” (vs. 9-10)

“All flying insects that swarm are unclean (v. 19)  But any winged creature that is clean you may eat” (v. 20)

“Do not eat anything you find already dead.  Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk” (v. 21)

Tithes:  A tithe is 10% of the produce to be used as a sacrifice for feasting before the Lord.  At the end of every three years,  they were to bring all the tithes of that year’s produce to support the Levites and help the poor (vs. 28-29)
