[:en]When Moses was 120 years old, he announced Joshua to succeed him. He encouraged them saying: “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you” (v. 6) And the Lord said to them: “I will go before you and will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged” (v. 8). Moses also commanded them to read the Law to the people so that they can listen and learn to fear the Lord and follow all the words of His law. (v. 12)
