[:en]Thoughts from Deuteronomy 32[:]

[:en]The Song of Moses taught the people to love and obey Him.  It spoke of Him as the Rock whom we can depend upon.  The Rock is our Savior (v. 15), Father (v. 18) and Deliverer (vs. 30-31).  Israel was God chosen people whom He guarded as the apple of His eye.  He led them like an eagle that spreaded its wings to fly (vs. 10-11).  This song reminded them the  greatness and goodness of the Lord and encouraged them to live for Him.

Our songs today should follow this pattern by proclaiming His greatness and goodness so that it can encourage us to live for Christ.[:]
