[:en]Scripture Reading:  Psalms 106

Biblical Truth:  During their journey to the Promised land, God had performed many miracles.  He parted the Red Sea, supplied manna in the dessert, provided cloud by day and fire by night to lead their way.  Instead of being thankful, they rebelled, grumbled, disobeyed, yoked themselves with idols and provoke God’s anger.  When God handed them over to their enemies, they cried out to the Lord and He saved them.

Personal Application:  Do we also suffer from spiritual amnesia and forget the goodness of God?  Do we turn way from God, go our own way, whine and complain as we go through the consequences of our disobedience?  But God remains faithful and merciful to us.  He will forgive us if we confess our sins and turn from our wicked ways.

Prayer:  Lord, help us to remember your goodness and follow you.[:]
