[:en]Thoughts from “Light to My Path” (3/28/17)[:]

[:en]Scripture Reading:  Romans 1:18-32

Biblical Truth:  In Romans, Paul warned about “sin of approval” when he said:   “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them (Rom. 1:32).  The true sense of love includes discipline as God also imposes divine wrath.

Personal Application:  Supporters of gay marriages accused Christians of being judgmental bigots because we do not accept their belief.  But it is clear in God’s Word that those who give approval to such activities are as guilty as those engage in the sin.  We do not succumb to the majority rule and give approval for the sin and we refuse to suppress God’s truth.

Prayer:  Lord, give us the courage to stand on your Word despite the condemnation from the people.[:]
