[:en]Thoughts from Luke 1[:]

[:en]Luke was a doctor in profession.  He recorded Lord’s birth and early life, His baptism and temptation, His ministry in Galilee and in Jerusalem.  Zachariah was a priest whose wife Elizabeth was barren.  Then one day angel Gabriel appeared to him and told him that  his wife will give birth to a son to be called John.  Later when Elizabeth was 6 months pregnant, angel Gabriel appeared to Mary informing her that she will give birth to a son and she was to name Him Jesus. (vs. 30-31).  Mary accepted without hesitation when she said:  “May it be to me as you have said” (v. 38). Both Mary and Zachariah sang songs of praise to the Lord.

How obedient are you to God’s calling?  Can you also say to God:  “May it be to me as you have said”?[:]
