[:en]David went to Nob to Abimelech the priest and asked for bread and sword in the presence of Doeg, the Edomite, Saul’s head shepherd. (v. 7).  Then he fled from Saul and went to Achish, king of Gath.  But the servants of Achish recognized him, so David was very much afrsid.  So he pretended to be insane like a madman in the presence of King Achish.[:]
