[:en]When the Israelites were defeated by the Philistines, the elders asked to bring the ark of the Lord into the camp.  And Eli’s two sons were there with the ark of God.  The Philistines fought and captured the ark of God and Eli’s two sons died.  When Eli learned about the ark of God being captured, he fell backward off his chair and his neck was broken.  He died at the age of 98 and led Israel for 40 years.[:]
