[:en]While Absalom met David’s army, his head got caught in a tree hanging in midair.  Joab took three javelins in his hand and plunged them into Absalom’s heart while he was still alive in the oak tree.  (v. 14)  Then he threw him in to a big pit.  When David knew about it, he was shaken and swept profusely.[:]
