[:en]Scripture Reading: Romans 7:7-13
Biblical Truth: God gave Israel the “Law” as a first step in answer to the problem of sin. The Law was to expose sin that needed death sentence. But Christ took that sentence upon Himself by dying on the cross so that sin shall no longer be our master because we are not under law but under grace.
Personal Application: The Law was His first word being fulfilled in the coming of Jesus so that He could send forth His Spirit to enable us to live righteous lives.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for giving us the Spirit life that sets us free from the law of sin and death[:]
