[:en]The Lord’s Prayer (vs. 2-4)

Our Father, who Art in Heaven – Salutation – addressing our Heavenly Father

Hallowed be Thy name – Reverence and honoring His name

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done – Showing love, respect and obedience to His will

On earth as it is in heaven – Intersession – praying for the country, for the leaders, for peace and security,  for the unsaved, for the missionaries, for the sick and the needy

Give us this day our daily bread – Request – for physical, spiritual and emotional needs

And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors – Seeking forgiveness from God and granting forgiveness to people who have offended us

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil – Victory over temptation and avoidance of  sins

For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever – Praising and honoring his power and glory

In Jesus Name – Asking Jesus our Saviour to be our intercessor

Amen – Let it be so – that God really hears and answers this prayer.
