[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (4/02/17)[:]

[:en]George Burns was an American actor who lived up to 100 years old.  As a humorist, he enjoyed making people laugh.  According to him, the single most important key to longevity was avoiding worry, stress and tension.

Apostle Paul also offered encouragement to the Jews who were scattered across Asia during the first century saying:  “Cast your anxiety on Him because He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7)

Our lives are so uncertain.  We can not avoid problems and sufferings.  But we can find peace, comfort and strength to stand victorious against Satan’s attack. (1 Peter 5:9-10)

“Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life what you will eat or drink or about your body what you will wear.  Is not life more important than food and the body more important than cloths?  Who of you by worrying can add a single hair to his life? (Mat. 6:25-27)  “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  each day has enough trouble of its own (Mat. 6:34).[:]
