[:en]Before engaging in battle at Keilah, David inquired from the Lord saying: “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?” The Lord answered him: “Go attack the Philistines and save Keilah” (1 Sam. 23:2-3). But David’s men were afraid. So David again asked the Lord for confirmation. And the Lord answered; “Go down to Keilah for I am going to give the Philistines into your hand” (1 Sam. 23:4). David always prayed to the Lord to give him guidance.
Prayer should be the priority of your life. Do not only pray when you are desperate, in trouble or in need of God’s help. Pray always, pray unceasingly and pray in faith.
