[:en]David had prepared a place for the Ark of God.  He summoned the Levites to bring up the ark. This time, they carried the ark with the poles on their shoulder as Moses had commanded and in accordance with the word of the Lord (v. 15) .  As the ark entered into the city of David, they sang songs of praise and thanksgiving (vs. 16, 24) and made sacrifices to the Lord (v. 26).[:]
