As a result, He was ultimately controlled by the gods of their nations. He also worship Ashtoreth, the goddess of Sidonians, Chemosh, the god of Moabites and Moleach the god of Ammonites. (v. 33). Because of his disobedience, God raised up the following adversaries: Hadad, Rezon, and Jeroboam, who rebelled against him.
