[:en]Thoughts from 1 Kings 22[:]

[:en]The king of Israel wanted to retake Ramoth Gilead with the help of the king of Judah Jehoshaphat.  All the prophets in Israel prophesied victory.  But Jehoshaphat consulted prophet Micaiah who prophesied otherwise.  In his anger, the king of Israel put Micaiah in prison.  Ahab went to battle and was killed at Ramoth Gilead and his son Ahaziah succeeded him as king.  He reigned for 2 years and did evil in the eyes of the Lord by worshipping Baal.

Meanwhile, Jehosaphat, the king of Judah was 35 years old when he became king and reigned in Jerusalem for 25 years.  He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord.  When he rested, his son Jehoram succeeded him.[:]
