[:en]Solomon had the ark of the Lord’s covenant brought from Zion to the City of David and placed it in the inner sanctuary of the temple. (vs. 1, 6).  Then the cloud covered the temple and His glory filled His temple.  Solomon offered a prayer of dedication and supplication.  He exhorted the people to commit their hearts fully to the Lord, to live by His decrees and to obey His commands. (v. 61).  His prayer emphasized on the HEART as follows:   1)- Beware of the affliction of his own heart (v. 38)   2)-God knows the heart (v. 39)  3)-Have a change of heart (v. 47)  4)-Turning back their hearts to you (vs. 48, 58)  5)-Turn our hearts to him (v. 58)  6)-Heart must be fully committed to the Lord[:]
