[:en]Thoughts from 2 Kings 19[:]

[:en]When king Hezekiah heard this, he went to the temple of God and pray: “O Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all kingdoms on earth may know that you alone O lord are God” (v. 19).  He sent Eliakim, the palace administrator, Shebna, the secretary and the leading priests to tell prophet Isaiah about it.  Isaiah prophesied Sennacherib’s fall.  That night an angel of the Lord went out and put to death 185k men in Assyria camp.  So king Sennacherib returned to Nineveh.  While he was worshiping in the temple of his god Nisroch, his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer cut him down with the sword and escaped to the land of Ararat.  His son Esarhaddon succeeded him as king.[:]
