Biblical Truth: Paul warned his readers that false teachers will come into the church to disrupt unity and create division through false teachings. We must have discernment to distinguish between foundational and peripheral matters of faith. We must not be deceived by sounding words of the prosperity gospel.
Personal Application: Let us ask God to give us the wisdom to see those who disregard the Scriptures and whose life and teachings are contrary to the truth.
Prayer: Our heavenly Father, we ask you to give us the wisdom of discernment.
