Biblical Truth: God repeatedly warned the Israelites not to worship the false gods. But the nation forgot Him and followed worthless idols. They were punished with war and defeats but God still gave them words of comfort: ”
Comfort, comfort my people” (Isa. 40:1). These words of kindness sent hope into their hearts.
Personal Application:” Do you feel the weight of your sin and problems? God to him and confess your sins. His grace is sufficient to pardon you.
