[:en]Scripture Reading:  Romans 9:6b-18

Biblical Truth:  The parable of the Unmerciful Servant was an illustration of God’s mercy.  The master wanted to collect the debt from his servant but the servant begged for mercy.  The master generously cancelled his debts and let him go free.   But that servant refused to forgive the debt of another servant who owed him money.  When the master knew about it, he handed him to the jailer until he could payback his debts.  (Mat. 18:21-.35)

Personal Application:  As our merciful Lord had forgiven all our sins and iniquities, we should likewise forgive those who have wronged or offended us.  Let us be reminded about God’s love so that we can also forgive the unforgivable.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, we thank you for your amazing love and wonderful grace.  May you grant us the willingness to love and forgive others.[:]
