Biblical Truth: Our Lord is a Sovereign God. He is the potter and we are the clay. “Does the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some potting for noble purpose and some for common use? (v. 21)
Personal Application: Therefore, we do not have the right to question or blame God. “But who are you, O Man, to talk back to God?” Shall what is formed say to him who formed it? Why did you make me like this?” (v. 20)
Prayer: Our heavenly Father, help us to recognize you as our potter, subject to your molding. Make us remember that you know the perfect time to answer our concerns.[:]
