[:en]Jehoshaphat rested and his son Jehoram succeeded him as king.  Jehoram killed all his brothers and reigned 8 years in Jerusalem.  He married the daughter of Ahab and did evil in the eyes of the Lord.  Because Jehoram had forsaken the Lord, the Lord aroused Philistines and Edom to attack Jerusalem and killed all his sons and wives except Ahaziah, the youngest.  The Lord also inflicted Jehoram in incurable disease of the bowels.  He died in pain.[:]
