[:en]After Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.  The Lord appeared to Solomon and said”  If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (v. 14)  He promised to establish Solomon’s royal throne if he would walk before Him.  He also warned to uproot Israel if they would turn away and forsake His decrees and went to serve and worship other gods (v. 20).[:]
