[:en]While the King and Haman were dining with Queen Esther, the King again asked her what is her petition. She answered: “If I have found favor with you, O King, and if it pleases your majesty, grant me my life. This is my petition. And spare my people – this is my request. for I and my people had been sold for destruction and slaughter and annihilation” (v. 34). Esther then revealed her nationality, her danger and the presence of an enemy in the palace. The king got up in rage and commanded to hang Haman on the 75 feet gallows he made for Mordecai.[:]
