[:en]Instead of encouraging a hurting friend, Eliphaz was accusing Job of not practising what he preached (vs. 1-6).  He told Job that sinners always reap what they sow (vs. 7-11), suggesting that Job was suffering because of his own fault.  He maintained that God will only destroy those who did evil and sow troubles.  The innocent and upright will never perish nor be destroyed.  He shared his “experience with God” as the only test of truth.[:]
