[:en]Bildad emphasized the justice of God with the right doctrine. But his thinking was based on a traditionalist’s view that limited God’s freedom to exercise what He wanted to do. He argued from nature that for every effect, there is a cause. Since God is just, so Job’s suffering must have a cause and that cause was his sins. But God’s dealing with his people cannot be explained. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
