[:en]Thoughts from “Light to My Path” (5/28/17)[:]

[:en]Scripture Reading:  Psalm 114

Biblical Truth:  When the Israelites fled from Egypt, they were faced with great danger.  Before them was the Read Sea and behind them were the armies of Egypt.  During that moment, God performed miracle and made the Red Sea a dry land for them to cross over.  The Psalmist described God’s amazing work “the sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back, the mountain skipped like rams, the hills like lambs” (Ps. 114:3)

Personal Application:  We too have Red Seas and Jordan Rivers to face.  Often times, we feel lonely, discouraged and hopeless.  In a situation like this, we should look up and depend on God to overturn everything and make the impossible possible.

Prayer:  Help us Lord to seek you in times of distress and danger.[:]
