Biblical Truth: The Lord promised blessings to the people of Israel if they would worship Him and obey His commands. He also warned them curses if they forsook Him and follow the adulterous practices of the heathen nations.
Personal Application. God assured us of peace like a river and righteousness like the waves of the sea if we pay attention to His commands (Isa. 48:18). Let us follow His teachings and obey His laws.
Prayer: Dear Lord, a broken spirit and a contrite heart, you will not despise. Forgive us of our sins and rescue us.[:]
