Biblical Truth: The people of Israel were exiled because of their sins and transgressions. The Holy God could not ignore sin and wanted to rescue them from their enemies. But he was waiting them to repent and return to Him.
Personal Application: Our Lord can identify with us all our trials and temptations because He had undergone great sufferings. (Heb. 2:18, 4:15) He was obedient to God’s will in order to redeem us and save us from damnation. How about you? Will you do God’s will even if you have to suffer?
Prayer: Dear Lord, not our will, but your will be done.[:]
