Biblical Truth: The Israelites worshiped idols made from metal, wood and stone. They sought rescue and blessings from them rather than from their creator. But the Lord called all makers of idols nothing, their idols useless (v.9)
Personal Application: “Our help comes from the Lord, the maker of heavens and earth” (Ps. 121:22). Only the Lord can help and save us.
Prayer: Help us Lord, to trust in you and you alone.[:]
