[:en]The Israelites gathered together, fasting and warning sack cloths.  They related their history and mentioned about all the wonderful things that God had done for them and all the sins they and  their forefathers had committed.  They stood and confessed their sins and made a binding agreement putting in writing with signature of their leaders, the Levites and priests.[:]
