[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (6/12/17)[:]

[:en]We have to cook 3 meals a day.  And cooking become tedious as it has to take hours of preparation :  peeling, cutting, slicing, mixing, baking, grilling, boiling , steaming or frying.  But eating is never tedious and we enjoy it day by day.

Paul used the illustration of sowing and reaping when he wrote:  “Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Gal 6:9).

If is difficult to do good by loving our enemies, giving generously, and practising self-control.  However, it is a joy to see love conquering strife, people being helped, and believers living a holy life.  Let us do good in every opportunity we can and wait for God’s blessings in His time.[:]
