[:en]Thoughts from Job 31[:]

[:en]As his final defense, Job stated specific sins that he did not commit.  He knew that God saw his ways (v. 4) and weighed him in honest scales (v. 6).

Things to ponder:

  1.  Do your eyes look lustfully? (v. 1)
  2. Do you treat your servants fairly and justly? (v. 13)
  3. Are you generous to the poor and needy? (vs. 13-23)
  4. Have you put your trust in your wealth? (vs. 24-25)
  5. Have you rejoiced at your enemy’s misfortune and trouble? (v. 29)
  6. How do you respond to the needs of a stranger? (vs. 31-34)
  7. Are you a faithful steward of what God has given you? (vs. 38-40)
