[:en]Scripture Reading: Matthew 8:23-27
Biblical Truth: The disciples of Jesus followed him to the boat. A furious storm suddenly came up and the waves swept over the boat. Jesus was sleeping while the disciples were panicking and they woke Jesus up. Jesus rebuked the winds and the waves and it was completely calm (vs. 23-26). The men were amazed and asked: “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him” (v. 27)
Personal Application: We may face stormy area in our lives. Jesus has the power to calm the storm and deal with our problems. All we need is to faithfully trust in Him.
Prayer: Father, I know you are omnipotent. You can help us in dreadful trials. Help me to fully trust in you.[:]
