[:en]Scripture Reading: Matthew 10:16-23
Biblical Truth: When Jesus sent out his disciples, he warned them: “I’m sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves” (Mt. 10:13) Jesus wanted them to have a balance of wisdom and vulnerability to accomplish God’s work. He knew God’s servant will face persecution from external and from internal. But He wants us to stand firm and devote our lives truly to Him.
Personal Application: Are you sharing the gospel despite of opposition from within and without? Have you totally committed to Jesus and truly devoted to Christ?
Prayer: Dear Lord, enable me to stand firm with boldness to witness to those who desperately need you.[:]
