[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (7/11/17)[:]

[:en]A desert is a dry, dusty and dangerous where there is no water and hostile to life.  During Exodus, the Israelites traveled through the wilderness and desert.   They trusted God for their protection and daily provision.

Today, you may not live in literal desert, but you may go through desert-like circumstances such as loneliness, depression, sickness, poverty, pain and grief.  Remember to depend on God because in every desert, God has an oasis of grace.  “They did not thirst when He led them through the deserts” (Isa. 48:21)[:]
