[:en]Naaman was the commander of the Syrian army. When he was stricken with leprosy, his wife’s servant girl suggested that he sought healing from Elisha. As he traveled to see the prophet of God, he expected to be welcomed and treated with great respect. But prophet Elisha did not meet him personally. He just sent a message that he should bath in the Jordan River sevens times. Feeling insulted with his pride, he was furious and refused to follow. It was only when he finally humbled himself and did what he was told to do before he was cured.
Many times, we want to do our own way. But God’s way is always the best way. We have to humble ourselves and follow God’s way.[:]
