[:en]Thoughts from Psalm 1[:]

[:en]In verse 1, there are 3 verbs:  ‘WALK, STAND and SIT” which indicate the stages in associating with those who reject God.  There are also 3 nouns ‘COUNSEL, WAY,  and SEAT” with 3 different kinds of evildoers – the “WICKED, SINNERS and MOCKERS”.

The godly delights in the law of the Lord and meditates it day and night. (v. 2)  He is like a tree planted by the streams of water which yields it fruits by season and whose leaf does not wither.  His life is firm, fruitful and productive and prosperous. (v. 3)  He lives a potent life under God’s care. (v. 6)

The wicked are like chaff that the wind blows away (v. 4).  His life is meaningless and useless.  He can not stand in the judgment ( v. 5) and he will perish (v. 6).

Which way will you choose?  It is about time to chart your destination and make some corrections and adjustments.  The Psalmist encourages us to follow God’s way – the truth.  Are you willing to walk with Him?[:]
