- Flattering words – “Everyone lies to his neighbor; their flattering lips speak with deception” (v. 2)
- God’s words – “And the word of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times” (v. 6)
- Trusting words – “O Lord, you will keep us safe and protect us from such people forever” (v. 7)
Let us guard our mouth and keep watch over the door of our lips so that we speak only words that are true and helpful to other people.
Let us keep the word of God in our hearts.
Let us trust the Lord for protection.[:]
