[:en]Thoughts from Psalm 6[:]

[:en]The troubles that the Psalmist encountered:

  1. Sin (v. 1)
  2. Sickness (v. 2)
  3. Suffering (v. 3)
  4. Sadness (v. 6)
  5. Sorrow (v. 7)
  6. Evildoers (v. 8)
  7. Enemies (v. 10)
  8. But at the end, the psalmist said:  “The Lord had heard my cry for mercy.  The Lord accepts my prayer” (v. 9)

We are assured by God that our sin can be forgiven, sickness can be healed, suffering can strengthen our faith, sadness and sorrow can turn to joy, evildoers and enemies will be punished because God answers our prayer. (James 5:14-16)[:]
