[:en]Paul and Barnabas went to Iconium but the people there tried to stone them. So they went to Lystra and healed a crippled man. The crowd saw what Paul had done and treated him like god (vs. 11-18). When the apostles heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd. shouting: “Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them” (vs. 15-16). Then some Jews from Antioch and Iconium incited the crowd and stoned them. The next day, they left for Derbe and preached the good news in that city. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch and appointed elders for them in each church, and with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord. (vs. 19-23)
Give God the glory He deserves.[:]
