Biblical Truth: The Psalmist asked mercy from God when he said” Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt. We have endured much ridicule from the proud, much contempt from the arrogant” (v. 3-4).
Personal Application: It is natural for us to pray and seek God’s leading when our days are hard with trials, pressures and problems. But when life becomes normal again, our dependence on God diminishes. Live your life with faithful obedience and trust in our Heavenly. Ask Him to protect you from the sins of pride and contempt during days of ease.
