Biblical Truth: Jesus went into their synagogues and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, the Pharisees asked him: “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” Jesus answered: “It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath” So he restored the man’s hand completely. (vs. 9-13)
Personal Application: To do good is more important than to practise the whole system of legal tradition. Do not be afraid of criticism as long as what you are doing is right.
Prayer: Help me Lord, to stand firm to do what is right.
