[:en]Carole was diagnose with breast cancer. After her surgeries and treatment coupled with prayers, she was on the road to recovery. A year later, her sister Linda faced the same battle. Carole came alongside with Linda and helped her to understand what she expected and had to prepare for what she would face. Carole’s experience had equipped her to walk with Linda through her own trial. Paul in 2 Cor. 1:3-4 says: “Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God”
God has his purpose for our struggles. It gives us the opportunity to empathize and comfort those who are in their struggles. May we serve as an instrument of encouragement and comfort to others.
