[:en]Thoughts from Psalm 43[:]

[:en]David pleaded with God to vindicate him against the deceitful and wicked men.  He felt being rejected by God as the enemies oppressed him.  He asked God to:  “Sent forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell.  Then I will praise you with the harp, O God, my God” (v. 3-4)

Memorize this verse:

“Why are you downcast, O my soul?  Why so disturbed within me?  Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God” (v. 5)[:]
