[:en]The song “Great is Thy Faithfulness” came from this Psalm. “I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations” (v. 1). God told the Israelites that if they forsook His law and did not keep His command, He will discipline them with rod and flogging. (v. 30-32) But His lovingkindness and faithfulness will remain with them if they repented of their sins.
Examine yourself and submit to his chastening. Look to God for forgiveness and restoration. Trust in His promises because He is a faithful God.
