[:en]Faith versus Law:
Paul was telling the Galatian believers that after they had already received the Spirit by God’s grace, they are now trying to go back to the observance of law by human effort. All those who rely on observing the law are under a cruse because no one is justified before God by the law. Christ had redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us so that by faith, we might receive the promise of the Spirit (vs. 13-14)
The law was added because of transgression until the seed to whom the promise referred had come. (vs. 19) The purpose of the law was to lead us to Christ so that we might be justified by faith. So when faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. (vs. 24-25)
Since we were baptized into Christ, we are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. We are all one in Christ and heirs according to His promise (vs. 26-29)[:]
