Biblical Truth: In his trial Job said: “Why did I not perish at birth and die as I came from the womb?” (Job 3:11). Job had though that his life was dark and gloomy. He had lost everything and what remained was suffering.
Personal Application: Have you lost things that are important to you — family, career, health, wealth? As long as you are still alive, there is yet hope. Look back at the circumstances you have overcome and look to the Father who made you in your mother’s womb. He is still working out His purpose for you. (Rom. 8:28)
Prayer: Dear Jesus, remind me that when there is life, there is still hope. My life is your hands to fulfill your purpose.[:]
